Emily studied at the University of King’s College London and at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating in 2011. She is currently a Principal Artist with Palace Opera, most recently performing the roles of Michaela (Carmen), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) and Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro). She has also performed the roles of Mother (Amahl and the Night Visitors) and Phoebe (Yeoman of the Guard) for Hendon Music Festival, and Dido (Dido & Aeneas) for the Helen Astrid Singing Academy.

Upcoming roles in 2016/2017 include Adele (Die Fledermaus) with Opera Integra, Princess Ida (Princess Ida) with Julian Operatic, and Aminta (Il re pastore) with City Lit Opera School.

A highlight of 2013 was featuring as a soloist on the soundtrack to the Romeo & Juliet film directed by Julian Fellowes, the score composed by James Horner.

She has sung with Blossom Street, The London Quartet, Artis, The Southbank Sinfonia, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Monteverdi Choir and Deus Ex Cathedra.

Recent solo engagements include Handel’s Dettingen Te Deum with the Southbank Sinfonia, Bach’s St Matthew Passion at the Cadogan Hall with the English Chamber Orchestra (part of Channel 4’s Documentary ‘The Life of Alex’), Bach’s St John Passion in St John’s Smith Square, Macmillan’s Seven Last Words on the Cross with the Southbank Sinfonia and Bach’s B Minor Mass at Gloucester Cathedral with the English Chamber Orchestra.

Emily also undertakes engagements for the Hatfield House Living History Project, bringing to life the characters of Lady Mary and Queen Victoria, as well as performing in their well-known Banquets in the Old Palace.

Emily is an experienced recording artist, performing on numerous television and film soundtracks, including commercial recordings for Katherine Jenkins, Blossom Street and the Rodolfus Choir.

Outside of solo singing, Emily is an accomplished choral conductor and singing teacher. She is the Head of Vocal Studies at Bolingbroke Academy and Director of Music with the award-winning Girls Choir at the Dunstable Priory. She has a teaching base in London with a number of students performing in the West End and on Broadway including Billy Elliot, Les Miserables, Oliver, Wicked and The Wizard of Oz.
