Emily studied at the University of King’s College London, the Royal Academy of Music and for her Masters of Music at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. She was previously a Principal Artist with Palace Opera, with whom she performed the roles of Michaëla (Carmen), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) and Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro). In 2017 she was a Young Artist with Head First Productions where she covered the role of Donna Elvia (Don Giovanni), and in 2018 was a Young Artist with the Opera in the City Festival. She has recently performed the roles of Lucia (The Rape of Lucretia, Trinity Laban), First Woman (Cover) (Dido & Aeneas, Blackheath Halls) and covered the role of Adina (L’elisir d’amore) at the inaugural Into Opera Festival.
Earlier this Summer she joined Opera Holland Park for their Summer season in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut and Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera. She has just retuned from a European tour of Verdi’s Requiem with the Monteverdi Choir and will be joining them again later this month for a European tour of Berlioz’s Benvenuto Cellini.

Solo engagements include Handel’s Dettingen Te Deum with the Southbank Sinfonia, Bach’s St Matthew Passion at the Cadogan Hall with the English Chamber Orchestra (part of Channel 4’s Documentary ‘The Life of Alex’), Bach’s St John Passion in St John’s Smith Square, Macmillan’s Seven Last Words on the Cross with the Southbank Sinfonia and Bach’s B Minor Mass at Gloucester Cathedral with the English Chamber Orchestra.
Emily also undertakes engagements for the Hatfield House Living History Project, bringing to life the characters of Lady Mary and Queen Victoria, as well as performing in their well-known Banquets in the Old Palace.

Emily is an experienced recording artist, performing on numerous television and film soundtracks, including commercial recordings for Katherine Jenkins, Blossom Street and the Rodolfus Choir.

Outside of solo singing, Emily is an accomplished choral conductor and singing teacher. She was previously the Head of Vocal Studies at Bolingbroke Academy and Director of Music with the award-winning Girls Choir at the Dunstable Priory. She has a teaching base in London with a number of students performing in the West End and on Broadway.
